Herbatka u królowej

POZIOM: 3-6

Elżbieta II obchodzi dziś 61 jubileusz panowania. Warto z tej okazji przybliżyć tą niezwykłą postać dzieciom oraz wyjaśnić im pojęcie monarchii urządzając sobie herbatkę u królowej. Zabawa ta szczególnie zainteresuje dziewczynki, które często organizują podwieczorki dla swoich lalek i misiów. Ta herbatka będzie szczególna, ponieważ rolę królowej odegra córka, a wiernego poddanego, który dostąpił zaszczytu pojawienia się na podwieczorku może odegrać mama lub tata.

 

Potrzebne nam będzie kilka rekwizytów:

• mały stół i dwa krzesełka
• zestaw filiżanek i spodków (może być prawdziwy lub plastikowy)
• herbata
• ciasteczka
• korona (plastikowa lub papierowa)
• eleganckie stroje dla królowej i poddanych

 

Zabawę zaczynamy od przygotowania stołu wraz z dzieckiem. Następnie przebieramy się w nasze "odświętne" stroje i wchodzimy w wyznaczone role. Pamiętajmy o dworskiej etykiecie - kłaniamy się królowej i zwracamy się do niej "Wasza Wysokość". Obowiązują nas także nienaganne maniery. Przygotujmy się wcześniej do zabawy sprawdzając informacje na temat królowej i monarchii brytyjskiej - na pewno nasze maluchy będą miały do nas mnóstwo pytań. Wizyta u królowej to również dobra okazja do nauczenia się kilku angielskich słówek: przywitania np. good afternoon czy form grzecznościowych np. thank you.  Przebieg zabawy zależy od nas i od bogatej wyobraźni małych dam. 

Afternoon tea with the Queen

LEVEL: 3-6

Elizabeth II celebrates the 61 anniversary of the reign today. It is a good opportunity to introduce this extraordinary figure to children and explain them the concept of monarchy arranging the afternoon tea with the Queen. This amusement will be particularly interesting for girls, who often organize an afternoon tea for their dolls and teddy bears. This tea will be special, because the daughter will play the role of the Queen and the role of the loyal subject, who has the honour to appear on the afternoon tea, can be played by the mum or the dad.

We’ll  need a few props:

•a small table and two chairs

•a set of cups and saucers (can be real or plastic)

•some tea

•some cookies

•a crown (plastic or paper)

• elegant dresses for the Queen and the subjects

The fun starts with the preparation of the table with the child. Then we put on our "Sunday best" clothes and enter the designated roles. Remember about the court etiquette – bow in front of the Queen and say "Your Highness". You are also obliged to present impeccable manners. Prepare yourself to the play by checking information about the Queen and the British monarchy - surely our little ones will have lots of questions for us. the visit at the the Queen’s is also a good opportunity to learn a few English words: such as greetings e.g. good afternoon or polite forms such as thank you.  The course of the play depends on us and on vivid imagination of small ladies.
